Strategic Partnerships

MCS maintains strategic partnerships with three leading Unified Communications bands: Avaya, NEC and Nortel.  Our staff is industry-certified by product to support the design and installation of end-user devices MCS maintains a staff of RCCD’s.  We use our Atlanta Integration Center to program and test all systems prior to shipping to the customer sites.  From Atlanta we deploy our certified systems engineers and technicians to install the unified communications systems products.   MCS offers equipment purchasing and leasing models to best suit the customer’s needs.

Maintenance Services

MCS has been in the telecommunications business for 21 years and currently maintains over hundreds of thousands of ports of Avaya, Nortel, and NEC Telecommunications Systems.  MCS’ Network Operations Center provides a 24 X 7 remote monitoring capability. This Rapid Response Team provides remote diagnosis and repair.  MCS also has on-site repair and move, add, change capabilities that can be dispatch anywhere in the nation. When beneficial to the customer MCS provides on-site maintenance personnel full-time.  Response times are established with our customers via service-level agreements.

Examples of MCS Unified Communications Success stories include:

US Air Force Base Telecommunications Systems (BTS) Contracts- MCS currently provides BTS for 8 US Air Force Bases (Columbus AFB, Sheppard AFB, McConnell AFB, Grand Forks AFB, Ellsworth AFB, Mountain Home AFB, Fairchild AFB and Charleston AFB). This support includes voice switch maintenance on a variety of PBX’s from Avaya, Nortel and others, as well as operation and maintenance for the inside and outside copper and optical fiber cable plants.

Florida Base Communications Offices (BCO) – MCS provides Operation and Maintenance support to the US Navy at Naval Air Station Pensacola and four surrounding sites. This support included installation of nearly 100 Avaya PBX’s, and includes maintenance and installation services for inside and outside plant copper and optical fiber distribution systems.


China Lake - MCS is the turnkey solutions provider for the Naval Weapons Center China Lake switching system which is composed of one Meridian Stored Logic (MSL-100) host switch, currently running under load SE06 that supports eight Meridian remote modules in cabinets equipped with XPM Plus. The sprawling China Lake complex covers 1,777 square miles with approximately 1,000 buildings and a working population of 5,700 government, contractor and military employees.
