We performed as the engineering and implementation prime contractor for the US Department of Homeland Security Remote Video Surveillance Systems (RVSS) at Chula Vista, CA and Blaine, WA. This RVSS, deployed along the Northern and Southern borders of the U.S. provides accurate detection and identification of unauthorized border crossings.

Systems engineering work included the design, installation, integration, and implementation of the command and control center; video matrix switches; infrared day/night pan/tilt/zoom cameras; MPEG-4 video over Internet Protocol (IP) encoding/decoding; communication shelter installation; generator backup; and Border Protection personnel RVSS operation and maintenance training.
