Telecommunications Maintenance

MCS has been in the telecommunications business for 21 years and currently maintains hundreds of thousands of ports of Avaya & Nortel, Cisco, Unify(Siemens), and NEC Telecommunications Systems. MCS’ Network Operations Center provides a 24 X 7 remote monitoring capability. The Rapid Response Team provides remote diagnosis and repair. MCS also has on-site repair and move, add, and change capabilities that can be dispatched anywhere in the nation. When beneficial to the customer, MCS provides on-site maintenance personnel full-time. Response times are established with our customers via service-level agreements.

Communications Projects

Aqualea Resort and Condos
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA Aqualea Resort and Condos – MCS worked directly for the building owner on this project to install an augmented, category 6 structured cabling system for this 14 floor resort, hotel, and condominium on Clearwater Beach, Florida. In addition to the structured cabling system, we furnished a turnkey audiovisual system for the facility that included the sound system.

ORLANDO, FLORIDA Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida – MCS performed the installation of the structured cabling system for the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. This project is one of the largest of its kind in all of Florida and it demonstrates our ability to obtain performance bonds and perform work on a large scale.

MACDILL AIR FORCE BASE US Central Command (USCENTCOM) Joint Intelligence Operations Center (JIOC), MacDill AFB, Fl – MCS demonstrated its unique ability to mobilize and train one of the largest teams of structured cabling installers to install the category 6 and fiber to the desktop system for the Vince A. Tolbert Joint Intelligence Operations Center at Mac Dill, Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida. This project tested the limits of MCS’s ability to efficiently install, terminate and certify well over 140,000 optical fiber strands at this 4 story facility. Structured cabling for U.S. Central Command’s new Joint Intelligence Center (JIC) included installing 140,000 fiber tips in under 6 weeks. US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), MacDill AFB, Fl – MCS provides support as a part of Team EITC to USSOCOM at Mac Dill AFB. MCS furnishes the design, budgeting and installation of structured cabling for the non-classified and classified networks in the secure environments at USSOCOM. This long-standing relationship demonstrates our ability to satisfy the very demanding and time-sensitive needs of a customer like USSOCOM.
