Dr. Gilbert Gonzalez
Dr. Gonzalez leads the dedicated MCS team of approximately 400 professionals at the forefront of delivering pioneering technology solutions. MCS has expanded operations across the United States establishing numerous branches and project offices with clientele to include commercial, military, federal, state, and local government entities. MCS is one of the fastest-growing privately owned technology firms in the Tampa Bay area.
With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Gonzalez holds Low-Voltage and Unlimited Electrical Contractor licenses and is a Registered Communication Distribution Designer (RCDD).
He proudly earned his MBA with honors from University of South Florida, specializing in Management of Information Systems and Economics along with a Doctor of Business Administration degree from the same institution. He was also recognized as the Small Business “Person of the Year” for Florida in 2005 by the U.S. Small Business Administration highlighting his contributions to the business community.
His favorite project is always “the next one” to continue to grow MCS of Tampa.
Dr. Gonzalez enjoys spending time with his wife of over 30 years and his two children – both of whom hold leadership roles with the organization.
He also enjoys fishing and restoring classic vehicles.
In addition, he also is an active member of the Executive Advisory Council for the USF Muma College of Business, the Volunteer Trustee for USF Foundation, serves on the Truist Bank Advisory Board, and was recently appointed by Governor Ron DeSantis to the Electrical Contractors Licensing Board (January 2025).
GT Gonzalez
GT is responsible for developing and implementing the short and long-term strategic goals of MCS of Tampa.
Since joining MCS in 2017, GT has helped design and implement the strategic outlook that has helped grow the organization from $35 million in annual revenue to a forecasted $60 million in annual revenue in 2023.
He attended the University of Florida and graduated with his Bachelor’s in Construction Management with honors, and completed a Project Management internship with The Beck Group.
GT earned his Professional MBA degree from the University of Florida, and also received his state of Florida Certified General Contractor’s License.
Outside of his career and professional development, GT is a United States Coast Guard licensed Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels. This license allowed GT to start his own, part-time business as a charter captain in 2019. GT grew up fishing with his father and grandfather, and has turned that hobby into a part-time job selling guide services for fishing charters in the Tampa Bay area.

Meagan Gonzalez
Meagan’s primary responsibilities include setting the company’s financial strategy, leading financial planning and internal technology strategy initiatives that enable revenue growth, and closely collaborate with and advise the executive team on process and strategy improvements.

Meagan previously worked as a Cybersecurity Strategist at Google. She earned her MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating as a Palmer Scholar. She previously graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Computer Science and Finance from Boston College.
When she’s not at work, Meagan enjoys traveling, reading, and working on her historic house.
Jim Slagle
As CAO, Jim is responsible for all legal requirements from contract review and execution to dispute resolution and litigation. He also oversees the Federal Professional Services business unit in addition to being the Facility Security Officer.
Jim has more than 40 years of professional experience, and has been with MCS for 28 of those years – previously serving as VP of Sales, Executive VP of Sales and Marketing, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Customer Officer, and now Chief Administrative Officer.
His favorite professional achievements have been overseeing the transition of MCS of Tampa into a Federal/Defense contractor, as well as higher employees who have been with the company for multiple decades. His favorite MCS of Tampa projects so far have been related to U.S. Border Patrol remote video surveillance.
In his free time, Jim enjoys all shooting sports, and served on the Elder Board for Christ Community Church for seven years.

Chris Collins
Chris’s primary responsibilities: “Tuesdays I get the trash, Wednesdays I host bourbon drinking, and Fridays I leave around 3:30”.
His additional responsibilities include leading the performance of the Sales and Marketing organizations for MCS of Tampa. In this role, he establishes the Sales Operations Plan utilized by the Marketing, Sales, and Engineering teams to achieve their individual and company Sales and Consideration objectives.
Chris joined MCS of Tampa 18 years ago, moving from Programs Division, to VP Sales for UC, to President for UC, to CSO.
His expertise includes sales process development, GTM strategy, market planning, leadership and training, and key account development.
Chris is deeply dedicated and is always thinking about work – even while he’s sailing and socializing at Davis Islands Yacht Club.

Bill Crowder
Bill’s primary responsibility at MCS of Tampa is talent acquisition. With 14 years of experience, he’s previously worked as a Talent Acquisition Manager, the Global Chair of Jacobs’ VetNet, and Senior DoD IT and Intel Recruiter.
His proudest professional achievements are earning a Bachelor’s Degree, a Certificate in Executive Leadership, and currently pursuing an EMBA degree – all from the University of South Florida.
Bill’s favorite project was when MCS of Tampa was rapidly growing and needed manpower – Bill delivered 388 signed offer letters, which nearly doubled the size of the company.
When Bill’s not at work, he enjoys gardening, golf, spending time with his three children, and serving as Head Coach of the West Tampa Bananas Tee Ball team.
He also regularly volunteers with Project Transition USA and Hiring Our Heroes – helping Veterans transition out of the military and into civilian careers. In the past he served on the board of advisors for Nellis AFB SkillBridge Association, as well as the Pinellas Technical College Board Of Advisors for curriculum development for their Electrical and Low Voltage programs.

Chris Whelan
Chris’s primary responsibilities include strategic leadership and business growth, operational oversight and project execution, team development and company culture, and building strong customer relationships.
With more than 18 years of professional experience, he previously held a Senior Project Manager and Designing position.
Chris’s qualifications include holding all the certifications for leading manufacturers, and having technical expertise and understanding of NEC and OSHA safety regulations. He has successfully led and scaled MCS’s Low Voltage Division, achieving revenue growth and market expansion through strategic leadership and operational efficiency. He has also spearheaded the implementation of process improvements, financial controls, and workforce development programs that increase efficiency and profitability.
His favorite projects of MCS of Tampa are summer projects with tight deadlines because of how the team comes together and strategically plans and executes to ensure project completion dates.
In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, fishing, and paintball.

Doug Stacy
Doug’s main responsibilities include sales, operations, and P&L for his division. This includes revenue generation, personnel management, problem-solving and cost management, with a particular focus on managing and generating revenue in the federal sector (DoD and civilian agencies).
He had served in Service Administration Manager, Senior Contracts Administrator, and Business Manager roles prior to joining MCS of Tampa. Doug has now been with MCS for 25 years.
Doug has a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry. He’s skilled in sales, proposal writing, pricing, management, strategic planning, telecommunications, and consulting.
He earned his MBA with a focus in Business Administration and Management, Executive from the University of South Florida, as well as a Certification in Purchasing, Procurement/Acquisitions and Contracts Management from the University of Virginia – graduating Summa Cum Laude from both institutions.

Earle Holbrooks
Earle is responsible for managing the Unified Communications LOB Operations, including Avaya, Cisco, Unify, UCaaS, and CCaaS solutions.
Wuth over 40 years of experience, he’s previously worked as a Technical Lead, VP of Operations, and Principal/Owner/CTO.
Some of his many qualifications include being a UC/VoIP Expert (SIP Specialist), Technical Sales Closer, and a Managerial Leader/Mentor.
So far, his favorite project at MCS of Tampa has been the Small Business Administration (SBA) UC Migration because it provided the opportunity to utilize his integration skills to integrate an on-premises VoIP system with Genesys CCaaS and MS Teams, creating a seamless transition away from their traditional on-premises UC & Contact Center Solution.
In his free time, Earle enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren, as well as serves as active ministry leader within Brookwood Church.

Michael White
Michael is responsible for both sales and operations for his division. With more than 24 years of professional experience, he was previously a Division Manager at Titan Electric Southeast, AV Sales Engineer for BCI Integrated Solutions, and Account Executive with Whitlock.
He’s been CTS Certified for nearly his entire career, is a 6-time President’s Club member with Xerox Audio Visual Solutions, and has designed, sold, and integrated projects for a theme park client in the U.S., Mexico, and Australia.
Michael’s favorite project has been the boardroom for the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority. He enjoyed the team effort between sales and operations from beginning to end, and was truly happy with the outcome, as well as how much the client was thrilled with MCS of Tampa.

Kevin Neal
Kevin Neal is a proven electrical industry leader with over 45 years of hands-on and executive experience.
He is known for building high-performing teams and successfully managing complex projects from bid through completion. With a strong ability to quickly understand company culture, products, and services, Kevin identifies growth and implements effective processes, and drives operational excellence across field, and office.
His background includes division leadership, financial and contract management, strategic planning, procurement, and risk analysis, as well as oversight of annual budgets up to $22M and teams of more than 70 professionals.
Licensed in the State of Florida as an Electrical Contractor, Kevin brings deep technical expertise, business acumen, and a results-driven approach to MCS.
Greg Sil
Greg Sil is a results-driven Vice President of Electrical Construction for Western Florida with over 30 years of experience in the electrical construction industry. Beginning his career as an electrical apprentice, he has progressed through a wide range of leadership roles, including Superintendent, Project Manager, Project Executive, Director of Electrical Estimating and Vice President.
Greg is known for driving growth and innovation through teamwork and collaboration. With a proactive approach to safety and a strong commitment to quality, he provides strategic direction and leads multidisciplinary teams of project managers, office staff and field personnel, ensuring every project is executed to the highest standards and delivers exceptional value to clients.
